Billing overview
Alfe billing is built around one simple idea: a single, organization-wide USD credit pool. That one balance funds everything your agents do, so there’s no per-service invoice to reconcile and no need to think in tokens or provider-specific units.
The credit pool
Section titled “The credit pool”Every organization has one shared balance, denominated in US dollars. As your agents work, usage draws down that pool:
- Compute — keeping managed agents running.
- Model usage — the LLM calls your agents make, at pooled rates.
- Voice — text-to-speech and speech-to-text minutes.
- Channels — messaging across the platforms your agents connect to.
- Storage — memory and files that persist across conversations.
Because it’s one pool, you top it up and monitor it in one place. There’s no per-agent wallet and no per-provider bill — a fleet of agents all draws from the same shared balance.
Prices are shown in dollars
Section titled “Prices are shown in dollars”You never have to convert tokens, characters, or minutes into a cost yourself. Alfe meters raw usage behind the scenes and translates it into a US-dollar charge against your pool, so everything you see is already in dollars.
What funds the pool
Section titled “What funds the pool”Two things add to your balance:
- Your plan. A subscription includes a recurring allowance and unlocks managed-agent capacity. See Subscriptions & managed agents.
- Top-ups. You can add credit at any time. See Usage & top-ups.
You can also earn credit through the referral program.
Where to find current prices
Section titled “Where to find current prices”Plan prices and usage rates are managed by Alfe and shown live on the pricing page. This documentation intentionally avoids quoting specific figures so it never goes out of date — always treat the pricing page and your dashboard as the source of truth.
